About Us
A Bit About Me
Hi, my name is Jennifer Webb I have been working in the early childhood education field for nearly 15 years. Early childhood education is something that I am truly passionate about. I love what I do!
Over these years I have worn many hats. I have worked for a variety of child care centers. Such as, small child care programs , city based child care programs and corporate sponsored child care centers . I have been assistant teacher, lead teacher, cook, van driver summer activity leader and curriculum trainer (sometimes all in the same day). I have had the chance to work with a variety of age groups from six weeks old through school aged children.
My Goal
My goal as your child care provider is to provide a safe, nurturing, stable, loving, fun, clean environment where your child can grow and learn. I also want to provide you, the parent a comfortable and trusted place you can leave your child while you are working. I will always strive to nurture your child’s unique qualities and potential. I believe that doing this successfully makes a difference in the lives of the children and their families.
What Pine Street Preschool has to offer your child
There are several great things that a home based childcare has to offer compared to a commercial day care center:
• Small Group Sizes
• Comfort in staff consistency (it is just me)
• Individual Attention that helps your child feel valued and respected
• Open Communication between myself and the families of children in my care.
• Customized Curriculum based on your child’s interest and needs
• Healthier environment because of the smaller group size then a commercial day care and I can keep your child’s environment clean and sanitized
• Quality Toys
• Children are allowed to explore with all materials available to them at their own pace
My Philosophy
I value and respect all the children and families who enter my child care home. All children have the right to a safe, healthy, nurturing, environment. I believe children thrive best in a small group environment and learn when they have the opportunity to explore and have fun. I believe children should have developmentally age appropriate activities that reflect their individual interests and talents.
My Certifications
My home has undergone safety inspections with both the Fire Marshall and State Health Inspections. I am a licensed child care professional through the state of Nebraska. I must obtain twelve (12) hours of childcare related education each year. I have met or exceeded this standard each year I have worked in child care programs.
I also hold and keep current CPR and First Aid certification.

Hello! I am a friend of Sarah Smith’s. My name is Colleen Ballard; she may have mentioned me to you. I am due to have a baby on April 15th. Sarah has said such wonderful things about the care you provide for Charlie and Henry. We are very interested in getting more information about your services. I won’t be needing a sitter until the beginning of August, 2008, as I am a teacher and will be home all summer. At that time our child will be about 4 months old. We also only need care service 2 days a week, as my mom will watch our child the other 3 days. My husband and I would love to talk to you and get more information, and too see if you have any openings. Thanks so much!
Jennifer - Great website. When I read this it shows your personality and style through out. Hope all is going well with you.

Hi Jen, Soon Christmas vacation for you! Yea! I read your new newsletter, finally! It is good. Shows a lot of thought and work goes into your monthly planning. Keep up the good work. “Mother’s Day Out” is a great idea. I sure would have loved something like that when you all were young.
