This month we will have the chance to explore pumpkins and the fall season. We will read some fun stories about fall as well as pumpkins, trick or treating and the colors of Fall.

Notes:

I have two days scheduled off this month that Tiffany and Sara will be covering here at Pine Street. On October 12, I have several appointments and on October 26, I will be having two teeth pulled and need to be off for the entire day. I also wanted to mention that in October I will only be doing one Parent Night Out, on October 13 from 4:00-10:00 pm. Thank you all for allowing your children to attend Parent’s Day/Night Outs over the past few months. The children seem to have a great time! I hope you find this idea useful and I do appreciate you allowing your children to attend. I will return to the normal schedule for November.

Thank you so much for helping with our Pine Street Fundraiser. We will be getting some new tables in the next few months!! I will need to pick out the one’s I want and order them it may take me some time.

I will need updated copies of your child’s immunizations this month. I need to submit them to Nebraska Health and Human Services Child Care Department by mid November. If nothing has changed please just let me know.

For our Halloween Party this year we will be having a special visitor from Crafts on Wheel’s who will be doing an interactive story telling session with the children. It should be a lot of fun. Please feel free to join us at 3:00 for some fun, and snacks. I will email a party sign up sheet for snacks and decorations in a few weeks if you would like to bring something to our party. Please do not feel as if you need to. The children may also wear their pajamas this day.

With the Fall season here please make sure your child’s extra clothes are season appropriate.
